Petra Gillis

Petra has worked in banking for 25 years. She began his career in 1996 as an Associate in Treasury Sales at J.P. Morgan Brussels covering our Benelux clients. Following a number of international assignments with J.P. Morgan Amsterdam and J.P. Morgan Frankfurt AG, Petra transitioned from Sales to the implementation team in London for a number of years. She then relocated to J.P. Morgan New York in 2005 where she led the large Corporate Implementation Team for North America.

In 2010, Petra transferred back to Europe, taking on a role in Treasury Services Sales leading the Consumer Retail and Healthcare market for Multinationals. As of 2014, she transitioned into a Corporate Banking Coverage role for Corporate Multinationals based in Belgium and Luxembourg. Additionally, she was also responsible for Dutch Headquarter companies and had been appointed Strategic Industry Lead for Consumer Retail in EMEA. Petra holds a bachelor’s degree in Languages (Dutch, French, Germany and English) and Economics.

Since December 2020, Petra leads the European Payments Business Developer team with an industry focus on Retail & Consumer. She is currently an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan Payments.
