Anna is responsible for
developing niche digital brands within Europe. Her workstreams include brand
strategy, eCommerce and digital across the entire European market.
Anna recently brought over the Greenies
brand from the US as a case study aimed at understanding how to deal with
smaller brands. She is also leading a pilot called ‘Launchpad’, which is
targeted at geo-locating consumers and driving them to retail stores, and then
converting them through geo-tracking within stores.
Anna believes that omnichannel presents
a huge opportunity for the food and beverage sector to connect to consumers,
bring them into stores, ensure they make a purchase, and finally to follow up
and encourage them to re-purchase online. The big challenge will be to make
sure all touchpoints within the omnichannel experience are connected, and that data
is used optimally by F&B companies to better understand consumer
preferences.
