At Digital Food & Beverage Europe, we spoke to Sarah Marsh, Head of Marketing at Adimo, to see why they choose to sponsor year on year.

Why did you choose to sponsor Digital Food & Beverage?

Sarah: Digital Food & Beverage, as an event series, is probably one of the core events now in our calendar for the year, purely because of the quality of delegates. It’s a very relevant audience for us; the content is always incredibly insightful and relevant, and it’s always something we look to get involved with and speak at as well.

How have you found the quality of delegates?

Sarah: In terms of the brands that we want to speak to in the CPG, FMCG, and grocery space, the audience is always spot on. The delegate list has been especially relevant this year; the titles are all eCommerce related and are exactly who we want to be talking to

How have you found the networking opportunities?

Sarah: The reception has been very warm during the networking sessions and the breaks. Everyone has been receptive and open to having conversations. We’ve had people come from across the room to find us, but being able to mingle and involve ourselves in conversations that are already going on is great.

Have you attended any of the sessions?

Sarah: I’ve attended a few of the sessions today, which’ve been fascinating. Some of the topics this morning around omnichannel have been very useful, and there have been some interesting discussions on AI.

Last year, we had a speaker session, and my colleague is doing one tomorrow. We chose to do this again, as it really helped bring footfall to our booth last year. Wherever possible, we always try to have some thought leadership at these events as we see a greater ROI when we do. It’s just great to be able to sit alongside some of the brands that we want to be talking to.

Do you see sponsoring having a positive impact on your business goals?

Sarah: Absolutely; we always try to have a good run-up for these events to ensure we’re getting the most out of them by working the delegate list and then the follow-up afterward. Regarding our core KPIs for the year, Digital Food & Beverage is one of the events I expect to have the most impact.

We’re a regular face here and will continue to sponsor. We’ve been involved since the very first Digital Food & Beverage, and we’ve seen it grow and go from strength to strength, so I’d say it’s important for us to sponsor and have a presence here in the future.
