Ollie
has been brought into the business with a focus on developing and nurturing
both new and existing consumer relationships in the UK and in overseas export
markets. He covers all aspects of the digital marketing mix across Yorkshire
Tea and Taylor’s of Harrogate including social, web, video and content. With
his team Ollie is currently leading a long-term project, looking at how these
digital channels can be used as channels of entertainment, to own usage
occasions and increase frequency of consumption.
Ollie
believes that, in the long-term, brand personality and creativity will become
key and that delivering this through authentic, insight-led content will be
instrumental in cutting through the noise of a competitive landscape. The days
of buying into a brand solely on its product offering are fading as savvy
customers are looking for not just what a brand can do for them but how a brand’s
CSR activities are helping everyone else.
